Syd Henry Lewis is an emerging visual artist working in painting, collage, photography, and printmaking. Based between Vancouver and New York, he is currently pursuing a BFA in Visual Arts at the University of British Columbia, has studied abstract painting at the Art Students League of New York, and has completed a studio apprenticeship with artist Pat Lipsky in the summers of 2024 and 2025. His work reinterprets the language of postwar abstraction through a contemporary lens and has been exhibited in Vancouver, Montréal, and New York.
